How to get there
Only 10 minutes from downtown Panama City,
just take the Juan Pablo II Road off the Via Ricardo J. Alfaro (Tumba Muerto) or the
Northern Ringroad Juan Pablo II exit to the park's Visitors Center (1 Kilometer.)r).
Services
All services (hotels, restaurants, tour operators) you may need
can be obtained in Panama City. The Visitors Center provides the tourist with all the
information necessary and guides for a nice trip through the Park. It also has a
projection room and a permanent exhibition, an ecostore and a library.
What to do and Where to go?
The best thing to do is to go directly to the Visitors Center were you would be informed
about the activities available in the park. You could visit the Orchid Green House, with
species that can only be found in Panama and other internationally renowned ones such as
the Espiritu Santo, Panama's National Flower; the lookout point crowning this protected
area, interpretative trails such a the Mono Titi taking 45 minutes or the historic Camino
de Cruces (Cross Road), which was a predecessor of the Panama Canal as well as the
Cieneguita Trail.
Very typical features that the Park provides its visitors and friends with are the
conferences, about subjects of scientific interest, which are held on the last Wednesday
of every month.
